The 1000X is Keysight's entry-level oscilloscope — compact, affordable, with 50–200 MHz bandwidth and a 7-inch display. The 3000T X is a mid-to-high range professional scope with up to 1 GHz bandwidth, 5 GSa/s sample rate, 4 Mpts memory, and a capacitive touch screen. The performance gap is large across every spec: the 3000T X's 1M wfms/s update rate is 20x faster than the 1000X's 50k wfms/s, making it far superior for intermittent glitch capture. The 3000T X also adds Zone Triggering for graphically defining trigger conditions on the display. The 1000X is suitable for education and basic debugging; the 3000T X targets professional design verification.
